Belgian Women Painters (1)

In my next posts I will show some Belgian Women painters their portraits, stills, landscapes etc.

Louise de Hem ( 1866-1922 )

At the time women were not allowed to attend the art academies and she was trained by her brother-in-law. She was born in Ypres (Flanders). She became famous in London and Paris and was knighted in 1911.

Title of the works are :
- Reclining beauty.
- A country girl.
