O Fortuna

I often paint in watercolors during summertime it being a comfortable medium for painting outside or on the veranda. So now it's time to pick up oils again. I'm thoroughy enjoying the smell of the paint, even the turps and the dirty fingernails.
I named the painting O Fortuna because I was listening to Carl Orff's Carmina Burana when painting. It took me three afternoons to finish it ... for better or for worse. I had no model but was kind of inspired by and old film I saw many years ago, called Emanuelle ...
5O x 6O cms on panel.

I'm showing here the revised version ...

Hey Gilberte, I love the colours and feel to it. That music really motivated you I can see. I really dig this new style..you know it reminds me a bit of Gaugin! You have been busy and got out of your slump. Thats Great!..Send me some painting motivation up north. Ciao bella!
